In a large mixing bowl, stir the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt. Stir the milk powder and water together to form a milky smooth consistency.
In a smaller bowl, whisk together the water, milk, eggs and oil then add to the dry ingredients and whisk until combined.
Set a large frying pan over medium-high heat and drizzle lightly with oil to coat the pan.
Cut the apples crosswise into 5-10 mm slices and remove the middle core.
Dip the apple slices into the pancake batter and place in the hot pan. Cook, turning with a spatula until golden brown on both sides. Repeat with the remaining apples and batter.
