- 1 1/2 cups Self Raising Flour
- pinch Salt to taste
- 150 ml Beer
- Butter to serve

Instructions
- Place flour in a large bowl. Add a generous pinch of salt. Gradually add beer, mixing the dough together with your hands until a soft dough forms.
- Using lightly floured hands, shape dough into a ball and place onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Cook in a camp oven on hot coals for around 20-30 minutes. Alternatively cook in a pre-heated 200C oven for 25-30 minutes or until the damper is cooked through and sounds hollow when tapped on the base. Transfer to a wire rack for 5 minutes to cool slightly. Serve warm or at room temperature with butter.
