Combine the honey and vegemite in a microwave safe bowl and microwave for 30 seconds, then sir well to combine. Brush the mixture over the shanks to coat them.
Lay the rosemary over the shanks. Cover and cook until the shanks are very tender: for 8-10 hours on low or for 2 hours on high then 6 hours on low.
Recipe Notes
Add gravy powder and a little water to the pan with 1 hour remaining to thicken the liquid and make a gravy.
