We love white or cheese sauce on our steamed vegies/ corned beef etc. Buy the packets for $1 each. Or make your own and it’s so easy, much cheaper, tastes heaps better and has no yucky additives.

Ingredients
The Mix

cups
Skim Milk Powder

cup
Plain Flour
2
tsp
Salt

cup
Butter
very cold or frozen cut into cubes
1/8
teaspoon
White Pepper
White Sauce

mls Water
Cheese Sauce

mls Water

Cheese
sharp tasting
Instructions
Put all ingredients into a blender and mix until it resembles fine breadcrumbs.
Put 1/3 cup of the mix into bags.
Store in fridge. (will last at least 2 months)
To make the sauce –
Microwave water for 90 secs, and cheese if doing cheese sauce.
Whisk in the mix until smooth
Microwave for another 60 secs
Whisk and SERVE
