- 6-8 Granny Smith Apple into 1/8th's
- 1/3 cup Water

- 3 cups Plain Flour
- 1 cup Self Raising Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Salt
- 125 grams Butter room temperature

Instructions
- Place in saucepan with water and bring to the boil for about 5 minutes.
- Put some of the butter in with the flour and mix by hand. Add the rest of the butter until completely mixed. Mix in 3/4 cup of water with a fork until it becomes like dough.
- Sprinkle a board or bench top and rolling pin with flour.
- Roll out pastry until thin. Use 1/2 the pastry to line the bottom of the dish. Put it in the oven for 5 minutes. Take out of the oven and put the stewed apple in.
- Put the rest of the pastry on top of the apple. Put small hole in the middle of the pie to let steam out.
- Cook for 15-20 minutes.
