1 whole Chicken

1 litre  of Salt Reduced Chicken Stock

1 can Chick Peas, rinsed

2 Bay Leaves

2 Garlic Cloves

1 Onion, sliced

2 Potatoes, diced

1/4 Butternut Pumpkin, diced

1 Zucchini, diced

1 Carrot, diced

4 Celery Sticks, diced

2 Chicken Stock Cubes

Sliced Mushrooms and Spring Onions, to serve


1. Throw all ingredients into the bowl of a slow cooker. Cook on low for 5 hours.

2. When cooked remove chicken and shred meat with 2 forks and tansfer back to soup.
