Instructions
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and vanilla and mix until creamy.
Stir in sifted flour and milk and beat until combined and smooth.
Pour mixture into a loaf tin and bake in a moderate, 180c, oven for 15 – 20 minutes.
Turn onto a wire cake cooler.
Brush top with extra butter and sprinkle with cinnamon.
