Ingredients
- 2/3 cup Milk
- 60 grams Butter
- 1 Orange finely grated rind
- ¼ cup White Sugar
- ½ teaspoon Salt
- 7 grams Active Dry Yeast
- ¼ Warm Water
- 1 teaspoon White Sugar extra
- 1 Egg
- 1 Egg Yolks
- 3 cups Plain Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cardamom Ground

Instructions
- Put milk, butter, orange rind and sugar into a small saucepan over a medium heat. Heat until butter has melted and small bubbles form around the edge of the saucepan. Remove from heat, add salt and cool slightly.
- Whisk yeast, hot water and extra sugar in jug. Set aside in a warm place for 10 minutes or until frothy. Whisk egg and egg yolk in a small bowl. Sift flour and cardamom into a large bowl. Add milk mixture, yeast mixture and eggs.
- Stir until soft dough forms. Turn onto a lightly floured surface and knead for 10 minutes or until elastic.
- Put into a lightly oiled bowl.
- Cover with plastic wrap and stand in a warm place for 45 minutes or until doubled in size.
