Ingredients
- 375 grams Beef Mince
- 1 Onion finely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon Curry Powder
- 1 tablespoon Gravy Powder blended with 1/2 cup water
- 3 sheets Shortcrust Pastry thawed
- 600 grams Potato cooked, drained and mashed with 1/4 cup of Butter and 1/4 Cream Cheese

Instructions
- Cook the mince and the onion in a non stick pan until lightly browned. Add the curry powder and mix well. Pour over the gravy mix and stir over a low heat until thickened. Simmer.
- Preheat oven to 180c. Lightly grease 2 trays of flat bottom patty pans, cut the pastry into rounds with a 7.5 cm cutter and press into the pans. Spoon the cooled meat mixture into the pastry cases.
- Season mashed potato with black pepper and divide between the pies. Sprinkle with parmesan cheese and a little curry powder if desired. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden and pastry is cooked. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve with tomato chutney.
