Big day of cooking today.

First off was Crumpets for breakfast.

Using plain flour, sugar, salt, baking powder, yeast and water. I have combined these as per receipe.

Using two egg rings in a flat pan i have poured in mixture and cooked for 12 minutes and then flipped for the 2 minutes.

I have placed these into a low heated oven while i have cooked the remainder of the batter.

I have served these with butter, vegemite and cheese.

These crumpets were so delicious and so much better than the store bought ones.

Next is FruChoc and Apricot Cookies.

I have used all ingredients listed. The only things i have done differently was microwaving the butter until really soft then hand mixing butter and sugar.

The other thing i have done is used a half tablespoons of mixture rolled into balls.

I have baked these in the oven for 20 minutes. This receipe has been tried and tested many times and i have always been really happy with it.

Next up is Red Velvet Chocolate Chip Cookies.

A recipe i have not made before. These cookies are amazing though!

Using all ingredients listed i have combined these in a bowl. I have not let the batter stand but they have been fine.

I have placed half tablespoon balls onto a prepared baking tray and baked these for 14 minutes.

Finally, dinner tonight may have taken all day but was completely worth it. Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Chicken.

Combining soy sauce, honey, hoisin sauce, white vinegar, ginger, garlic, onion and red chilli flakes in a bowl. I have then poured this mixture over the 4 chicken breasts. I have cooked this in a slow cooker on low for 5 hours.

In 5 hours time i have taken the chicken out of the slow cooker and i have pulled it apart with a fork.

Next i have poured the sauce into a saucepan and brought this to the boil. Once boiling i have added the water and corn flour mixture and stirred this until sauce has thickened. I have bought this back to the boil for 1 extra minute. This has then been poured over the shredded chicken and set aside.

In a wok i have chopped up 2 carrots, 3 stalks of celery, 1 bunch bok choy, 5 broccolini stalks and some red yellow and green capsicum and stir-fried in a little peanut oil until just tender.

I have also cooked up some basmati rice in the rice cooker.

I have then served the chicken on a bed of rice with the stir-fried vegetables.
