Tonight i have made Shepards Pie.

I have started by peeling five small – medium potatoes and allowing these to boil until soft. Once soft i have mashed these with a little butter.

Using beef mince, 4 diced tomatoes, 2 carrots, half a cup of peas, parsley, worcestershire sauce and tomato sauce.

I have then poured the mince mixture into a casserole dish and sprinkled with grated cheese, topped with the mashed potato. Sprinkled with nutmeg and dobs of butter.

Cooked this for approx 15 minutes.

Served this with some crusty bread. Yum!

 

Now, i also missed out on writing about the RSPCA cupcake decorations i did to the cupcake i made on the weekend.

Firstly, the banana cupcakes.

I have frosted each of the cupcakes with the Nutella Buttercream.

Then using 2 white mini marshmallows for eyes and 2 pink mini marshmallows for the nose.

I have cut a Oreo cookie in half to use for ears.

To finish the decorations i have used a icing gel pen to put in eyes and the mouth.

Secondly, the Peanut Butter Cup Brownies.

With the brownies i have had to cut out a small circle from the tops of each.

I have then warmed up some peanut butter and put small spoonfuls into each hole of the brownies.

I have then topped each with a Reeses Pieces and sprinkled them with white chocolate pieces.

And thats it.

For the RSPCA Cupcake Day at work we have done really well.

We had 10 bakers and plenty of cupcakes to go around and in all we raised $640.

Massive effort to everyone who was involved and lots of sweetness for the whole day!!!!
