  1. Preheat oil in a large pan to 180c. Immediately fry the potato, in batches, adding slices one at a time to the oil, to ensure they are separated. Fry for 1minute or until golden and crisp. Remove from heat, then drain well on paper towl.
  2. Serve crisps warm or cold, sprinkled with salt and pepper.
