Massive cooking day today. Breakfast, Morning Tea for work tomorrow and Dinner tonight.

Firstly, breakfast. French Toast with Chocolate and Almonds.

The only things i changed in this recipe was using Soy Milk as i usually do not have normal milk in the fridge. I did not have any flaked almonds so i replaced it with hazelnut meal. Instead of dipping the toast into the egg mixture and then the flaked almonds i have sprinkled the hazelnut meal in between the sandwich. The last substitute was the grated dark chocolate, i have spread some chocolate philly on each slice of bread.

Served these drizzled with cream. Yum!

 

Next. Orange Cake with Marshmallow Frosting.

I love this recipe and i have never changed a thing in this. Except for making them cupcakes rather than a big cake. After 15 minutes i have placed a marshmallow on the tops of each cupcake and have cooked them for a further 5 minutes.

Once done i have squashed each marshmallow down with a fork and allowed them to cool completely.

Voila.

 

Next. Pumpkin, Fetta and Rosemary Twist.

Lamb for dinner, what is better matched with lamb but rosemary and pumpkin.

So i made this and it was amazing.

The only thing i subsituted was sour cream in place or the buttermilk. Not much else to say about this one except, yum!

 

 

Lastly was dinner of Baked Lamb Chop with Pumpkin.

Came about this recipe as we had run out of gas for the barbecue. So wanted something to replace the grill with and found this recipe.

Substitutes with this. Only had three chops out so made less marinade.

Used 60 mls of orange marmalade, juice of half a small orange. Didn’t have any ginger so used one teaspoon of ground ginger. Mixed to combine and brushed onto each side of the chops.

Used quarter of a kent pumpkin to roast and once all cooked served with steam mixed vegetables.

 

Such a great baking day today. All tasted amazing.
