Ingredients
- 1 cup Rolled Oats
- 1/2 cup Plain Wholemeal Flour
- 1 1/4 cup Wheat Germ
- 1/3 cup Brown Sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon Cinnamon Powder ground
- 30 grams Margarine
- 2 tablespoons Water
- 2 tablespoons Orange Juice
- 1 tablespoon Golden Syrup
- 1/2 teaspoon Bi Carbonate of Soda

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 150c (fan forced). Line 2 baking trays with baking paper.
- Put the rolled oats, flour, wheat germ, sugar and cinnamon in a large bowl. Stir well to combine.
- Put spread, water, orange juice and golden syrup in a small saucepan. Stir over a low heat until the spread dissolves and the mixture is well combined. Remove pan from the heat and stir in the bicarbonate of soda.
- Add the spread mixture immediately to the oat mixture. Using a wooden spoon, mix until well combined. Shape tablespoons of the mixture into balls and place on the trays about 5 cm apart. Flatten each ball with the back of a spoon.
- Bake biscuits for 12-15 minutes or until cooked through and they have started to darken around the edges. Set aside on trays for 5 minutes. Transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
