- 4 slices Wholegrain Bread thin sliced
- 4 slices Jarlsberg Cheese
- 1 Granny Smith Apple cored, thinly sliced
- 2 slices Ham
- 1 teaspoon Butter softened

- Layer each of 2 bread slices with 1 cheese slice, half the apple slices, 1 ham slice, and 1 more cheese slice. Top each sandwich with remaining bread slices and spread the top of that slice with a thin layer of butter.
- Heat a griddle or fry-pan over medium heat. Put sandwiches in, buttered side down. Cook for about 1 1/2 minutes so bottoms are golden brown.
- Remove plate and spread remaining butter on top of sandwiches. Flip sandwiches, weigh down with the plate and cook for another 1 1/2 minutes, or until golden. Cut sandwiches in half to serve.
