Ingredients
- 1 cup Dried Crushed Chilli About 80 grams
- 3-4 Garlic Cloves minced
- 1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spices Powder
- ½ teaspoon Salt or to taste
- 1 tablespoon Sesame Seeds
- 2 cup Cooking Oil About 450ml
- 4-5 slices Ginger

- In a large heat-proof bowl combine crushed chillies, Chinese five spices and salt. Mix it well. Add minced garlic and sesame seeds on top.
- Heat the oil over medium-high heat at about 350°F/180°C. Add the ginger slices and fry them until golden brown. Discard the fried ginger.
- Gently pour the ginger-infused oil over the crushed chilli bowl. Stir it well. Let it cool completely, then keep it in a clean jar.
Recipe Notes
Note: You can adjust the ingredients. If you like more oil, you can increase the oil ratio. You can also add a dash of MSG or sugar to your taste.
