  1. Prepare basic bread dough to end of step 2. Preheat oven to 200c.
  2. Punch down dough and knead for 1 minute. Divide into thirds and roll each into a sausage shape approximately 65cm long. Braid the three pieces together then form into a wreath shape, trimming ends and pressing together to join. Place on a large baking tray lined with baking paper. Cover and stand for 20 minutes.
  3. Brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds and sugar. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until golden and cooked through. Wreath should sound hollow when tapped. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. Serve.
