- 3 cups Self Raising Flour
- 250 grams Cheese Spread
- 1 tablespoon Vegemite
- 1 1/2 cups Buttermilk
- 1 Egg lightly beaten

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees C fan forced. Line oven tray with baking paper.
- Place flour in large bowl with 2 tablespoons cheese spread. Mix gently, adding sufficient buttermilk to form soft dough. Knead lightly on floured surface and press out to a 20 cm x 30 cm thick rectangle.
- Spread with Vegemite and 1/2 cup cheese spread, leaving 2 cm along one long side. With long side of dough facing you, gently roll to form a log, towards uncovered edge. Cut into 8 cm pieces with a serrated knife and place close together, cut side up, on baking tray. Brush with egg. Bake 20 minutes or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Serve with remaining cheese spread.
Recipe Notes
For Peanut Butter and Honey Swirls, add 2 tablespoons honey at step 2. Leave out the vegemite and cheese spread at step 3 and spread with 1/2 cup smooth Peanut Butter. Serve with extra honey.
