Ingredients
- 2 Apples jonathan or bonza
- 2 tablespoons Butter
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Orange Rind Grated
- 1 tablespoon Orange Juice
- 40 grams Dark Chocolate roughly chopped
- 1 sheet Puff Pastry
- Icing Sugar to dust

Instructions
- Use an apple corer to remove core from apples. With a sharp knife, score a ring around the middle of each apple.
- Beat together butter, sugar and orange rind with a wooden spoon. Add orange juice and dark chocolate; mix until combined.
- Divide chocolate mixture between two apples to fill their centres.
- Cut pastry into two even circles, then pinch edges to form decorative rims. Place apples on top of pastry.
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees and bake apples until pastry turns golden brown.
- Dust with icing sugar just before serving with cream or ice-cream.
