- 3/4 cup Plain Flour
- 1/4 teaspoon Bi Carbonate of Soda
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- Pinch Salt
- 3 tablespoons Butter
- 1 1/2 cups Chocolate Chips
- 1/2 cup Apple Sauce
- 1/2 cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Hot Water
- 1 teaspoons Vanilla Extract
- 1 packet Oreo Biscuits

Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180c.
- Lightly butter or spray with non stick cooking spray a 8 x 8 inch baking pan. Line with with baking paper with sides up. Lightly spray the paper.
- Take all the flour, bicarbonate of soda, baking powder and salt in a bowl. Mix well and keep in aside.
- Take butter and chocolate in a bowl. Melt in the microwave for 40 seconds.
- Whisk it until the mixture is smooth.
- Take apple sauce and sugar in a large bowl, whisk until sugar dissolves. Then add hot water and vanilla extract. Mix it well. Then add melted chocolate.
- Whisk it well until everything is incorporated. Add all the dry ingredients and mix with spatula until combined.
- Pour half of the batter into the prepared pan. Lay the oreo biscuits over the mixture. Add the remaining batter into pan. Even it out with a butter knife and tap the pan on counter top few times to get rid of air bubbles.
- Bake it in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes. Check it by inserting a toothpick in the centre and it will come out with a few crumbs.
- Let the brownie cool completely in the pan on wire rack. As it will deflate a bit. Then pop it into the fridge for 1 hour before cutting.
- Remove the brownie from the pan with the help of the baking paper. Cut the into 9 equal pieces or as per your desire and serve.
