DIY Healthy Fruit Roll Ups!
You remember the days, walking home from school, digging in your backpack and pulling out that foil-covered fruit roll up. There she was, all purple or red or orange. Then you unwrapped it as you chatted with your buds. Some people liked to roll it back up to indulge but then you had others who liked to rip it apart (savages). Then you had the crew who liked to fold it up into a square. What? What is that? We’re not sure where these preferences stem from but they sure do tell you a lot about a person! Now you can welcome all of those fond memories back into your life by following this easy recipe to make your own fruit leather at home!

Instructions
  1. Dice a mango and put in the pot.
  2. Add water and honey as desired.
  3. Simmer the mixture.
  4. Pour the mixture into a blender and puree them until smooth.
  5. Put parchment paper on the tray. Pour mixture onto paper, and spread it evenly with a spatula.
  6. Once mixture is smooth and even, place in the oven and bake at 170F for 6 hours.
  7. Cut your desired length with scissors into strips.
  8. Roll them up!
Recipe Notes
  • You can use your thermomix to cook and puree the fruit.
  • Use what ever fruit combinations you like.
  • 10 Apples cut up with skin on, bag frozen Apricots and then cook for 20 minutes and puree. Spread out on dehydrator trays.
  • Apples, Pears, Plums and Chia Seeds.
  • Best to use Apple as the base and then add any other fruit or berry.
  • If using with baking paper in the dehydrator, can take up to 24 hours. Once it is dried enough, remove paper and give it another 30 minutes.
