Ingredients
- 1 cup Self Raising Flour
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon Ground
- 1 cup Brown Sugar firmly packed
- 75 grams Unsalted Butter chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon Bi Carbonate of Soda
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 Egg lightly beaten
- 1 Granny Smith Apple peeled, cored, thinly sliced, 200g
- 50 grams Dark Chocolate grated

- 1/2 cup Thickened Cream
- 1/2 cup Dark Chocolate Melts

Instructions
- Grease 20cm springform tin. Line with baking paper.
- Place flour, cinnamon, sugar and butter in food processor. Process until combined. Press half the mixture in base of prepared pan.
- Place soda, milk and egg in large bowl. Whisk until smooth. Stir in remaining flour mixture, green apple and chocolate. Pour over base.
- Cook in moderate oven (180C) for 1 hour or until cooked when tested. Cake should have a moist pudding texture. Stand for 10 minutes. Remove side from pan.
- To make sauce, combine cream and Choc Melts in heatproof bowl over saucepan of simmering water. Stir until smooth. Remove from heat.
- Serve topped with warm sauce.
