Ingredients
- 1 ¼ cup Plain Flour maida
- ¼ cup Cocoa Powder
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- ½ teaspoon Bi Carbonate of Soda
- 2 tablespoon Butter melted or Oil
- ½ teaspoon Vanilla Essence
- 1 ¼ cup Milk
- 1 teaspoon Vinegar

Instructions
- In a bowl, mix milk and vinegar together and set aside to form buttermilk for about 10-15 minutes.
- Combine refined flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder and baking soda. Mix everything together.
- Add melted butter, vanilla essence, milk with vinegar mixture. Whisk it all together and make sure no lumps are formed.
- If the batter is too thick, add milk as required.
- Heat a pan on medium flame, Spread some butter or oil on it.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter into the pan and cook on low flame.
- Cook until the bubbles are formed and golden, flip and cook until golden brown.
- Garnish with chocolate syrup and strawberries on top.
Recipe Notes
- Add a pinch of salt, if you're using oil instead of butter.
- You can serve pancakes with whipped cream or a scoop of ice cream.
- Instead of vinegar, you can add lemon juice.
